Curriculum and Program Development:
|
Curriculum and Program Development: During my tenure at Taylor County
Technical Center, I was responsible for the curriculum writing and
development of programs such as Community Developmentally Disabled
Technician, Applied Medical Science, and Home Health Aide. These courses
were coordinated through West Virginia University, the County Board
of Education, and the Department of Health and Human Services, respectively.
In addition, at Chesterfield Technical Center, I authored the curriculum
for the Dental Assistant Program. Also, I assisted with the development
of curriculum and taught an Acute Care Nursing Assistant Course for
Columbia/HCA through their educational resources department. Most
recently as a consultant, I co-authored a Medical Assistant curriculum

This research lead to the development of a Multi-skill Module series
for which I am series editor and co-author.
